AWA Radiolette

I remember being 326 on a waiting list for this radio at a vintage radio dealer in Melbourne.I gave up and found my own.

It was in a box inside the roof of the grandson of the women who originally bought it.

AWA didn't make many of them, most ended up in the tip after being traded in on a transistor radio you couldn't give away today. Sadly most that are uncovered are shipped off to the UK or US.
