Astor BP"Mickey Mouse"

This is the very collectable BP version of the Mickey Mouse.

With an illustration of the rodent on the dial (what the farmers who were infested with mouse plagues at the time thought of this is beyond me)

This has a different chassis to the EC and is certainly harder to find. It is said the Astor Factory only produced 1000 of these models before a legal dispute with Disney.

There is a famous joke hidden in the dial. Australian stations have call sighs like 2UE, 3AW etc and are listed on the dial as UE and AW. One station 2DU in Dubbo is listed as DU, the wags in the factory added a bogus station CK right next to it, spelling DUCK so this should really be called the Mickey and Donald radio.
