Astor KM-QK 1948-1953 "Mickey"

Astor refused to pay Disney 50 pounds a year to licence the trade name Mickey Mouse so they simply used the name "Mickey"

This is a very popular radio and was produced for many years.

Most of the Mickey's you see are brown, white or cream, green one's pop up from time to time as do blue ones, they are rare in mustard yellow, mottled yellow, blue with clouds, champagne and red.

There is also a Monarch branded version of this set.
