STC C141 "Bantam" 1946

The Bantom is a very attractive radio - small but beautifully proportioned.

It was advertised with a crowing rooster proclaiming, "something the crow about, you'll find your most thrilling good morning with the new Bantam"

It was also advertised as coming in 3 delightful shades to harmonise perfectly with your surroundings. Eau-de-nil, cream and walnut. In fact there are 2 shades of green, solid and mottled (right)
